Engagement range isn't so much of an issue in winter though.

Not even when they're shooting at us with CO2 K98's?

Co2 K98s?!?!?!?!?!

Any fully auto weapons (ie CO2 MP44) needs to comply with site rules on FPS, which I think is 350fps.

Single shot K98s rarely reach 500fps in the winter, and a Garand wouldn't get near it. I've never heard of a Co2 K98 and the flow of Co2 has to be regulated from a pressurised bottle and AFAIK they're not set up to deal with that.

Clever play, good communication and good use of section weapons and tactical movement will be the key to winning. We didn't have any problems at Husky and that was one of the hottest days of the year.

Excuse me, not CO2, gas K98. I'm sure someone mentioned one, I think I got shot with it lol
Anyway fair enough, but it would be nice to know that we had a nice mix of long and short guns and some weapons to put down a good base of fire.
Then we can effectively use - Clever play, good communication and good use of section weapons and tactical movement will be the key to winning.

I know there's not been anything specific released regarding the game but will we be defending? It would be nice to defend again, it was great on the 2nd day at Husky.

Should be a mix of objectives. Guy and Dave only visited the site last weekend so they're putting together a scenario now.

Broadly speaking Allies will be on the back foot, exactly as they were 64 years ago!

Come on, we got any rifles?
I'll be bringing my Springfield...
We need M1's, we always get bummed on engagement range.

We will both be using our M1s (M14s).

However, we won't be able to help on the engagement range front, I think you'll find the chinese thompsons will outrange our rifles.

BTW, for those that dont know US glider troops in an airborne division wore line infantry uniforms, you dont *have* to wear m42 or m43 to badge up as 82nd...
